This antique Georgian style mahogany coffee table, has a nicely shaped gallery around the top edge, with handles shaped into the sides. The legs are chamfered on the insides. This table is in good original condition & has a lot of character. I would say it dates from around the 1930-50's period.
Antique French style nicely shaped coffee table, with gilt metal mounts & top edge. The top surface is parquetry, with an inlaid cross banded border. The legs are nicely shaped too. I think the wood could be a combination of Walnut, Kingwood, Mahogany & possibly some
Antique Regency style mahogany circular coffee table, with an original tooled leather banding & a flame mahogany centre. It has a turned column base, sitting on quadruple splayed legs that have brass capped casters. This table has a lovely warm mellow colour, lots of character & is in good original condition. I would say it dates from around the 1930-50's period.
This table is not all that old, probably about 30-40 years & it has quite a high gloss finish. What I particularly like about it is the high quality of the marquetry & inlays of many different woods. I believe it's either Italian or Swiss.
