Antique Burr Walnut Coffee Table

This walnut coffee table is one of the best quality ones I've come accross. The top is a beautifully veneered in a tight burr walnut, with a shaped carved edge. There is a lot more exceptional carving all around the sides & tops of the shaped solid walnut legs. Then to cap it all off, it has beautifully carved hairy paw feet. This coffee table is in excellent condition & I would say it dates from around the 1930's period. There is a glass top that came with it, but that has a chip on it. I can get it replaced for about £25.

Antique French Marble Top Inlaid Coffee Table

Good quality antique French marble top coffee table, with 3 useful drawers on one side. It has a beautifully grained marble with a gilt metal pierced gallery. I've just noticed a very small old repair on one corner of the marble, which looks like a fine line & is hardly noticeable, but I thought I should mention it. You can just spot it if you look close on the bottom left top side of one of the images. The turned legs are fluted with more gilt metal top & bottom. I'm not sure of all the woods involved, but it looks like walnut, tulip wood & kingwood. Also, there's some satinwood & ebony inlays. This coffee table is in good original condition & I would say it dates from around the 1910 period.

Antique Georgian Style Mahogany Tray Top Coffee Table

Antique Georgian style 'Butlers Tray' top coffee table in mahogany. The top has flaps that fold up & down, with inset handles. It has brass hinges & has four panels on the top. This tray top can be lifted off the 'H' framed legs & be used as a tray. This coffee table is in good condition, having just been re-polish & I would say it dates to around the 1950's period.

Antique French Style Inlaid Parquetry Coffee Table

Antique French style nicely shaped coffee table, with gilt metal mounts & top edge. The top surface is parquetry, with an inlaid cross banded border. The legs are nicely shaped too. I think the wood could be a combination of Walnut, Kingwood & Mahogany. This table is in good original condition & has plenty of character. I would say it dates to around the 1930-50's period.
