Antique Georgian Style Leather Wing ArmChair
Antique Georgian Style leather buttoned back wing armchair, with good strong shaped legs. A real character piece. The leather is in reasonable original condition, with one or two minor dings & plenty of natural aging, but there are no bad splits or tears. The legs are sound, with normal scuff marks. It is hand tacked all over. This chair is fairly old, possibly from the 1930's or maybe older.
Pair of Late Victorian Upholstered Armchairs with Carved Bases
Pair of antique late Victorian armchairs of small proportions with carving between the legs & turned stretchers. They have a very interesting shape & are upholstered in an old corduroy type of velvet, with feather cushions. The upholstery is fairly old but it's not stained or torn. I think most people will want to recover these armchairs in a fabric of their own choice. I would say they are about 100 years old & the wood has plenty of character, with normal usage marks. There is a matching 2 seater sofa to go with these armchairs, but I have listed it seperately in case someone wants one or the other.
Antique Elm Country Armchair with Rush Seat
This antique armchair is a real country piece, with loads of character. The frame is elm & it has an original rush seat. This chair is very stable, & is nicely worn in, with a good colour & patina. There is some evidence of a bit of worm, mainly in one of the arms, but it's been a long time dead. I'm not sure of the exact age, but it's at least 19th century & maybe a lot older.
