Large Antique William IV Mahogany Bookcase

Superb large antique William 1V mahogany bookcase that's pretty much in it's original condition. This magnificent piece came out of an estate in Hampstead, London along with many other lovely items. It has been down to my restorers & been polished too, but we have tried to keep the original colour & patina, after all this piece is about 170 years old. As far as I can tell, most of the glass looks original, but I suspect the top large one on the right hand door, must have been replaced along time ago. The shelves are original & have the adjusting supporting rails. There are two flame mahogany drawers in the middle & two flame mahogany panelled doors below. Take a look at the images of the inside of the bottom cupboard, to see the celleret drawer & all the other nice features. This is a real character piece, so don't expect it to be perfect & new looking. The main thing is, that the top & bottom of this bookcase do belong together & it still looks as it should.

Pair of Swedish or Danish Satinbirch Armchairs C.1910

This stunning pair of armchairs are in lovely original condition & are of a most unusual design. They are antique Swedish or Danish & the wood is Satinbirch. I suppose they are 'Empire Style'.

Antique Victorian Burr Walnut and Inlaid Side Cabinet

Wonderful quality antique Mid-Victorian side cabinet. This piece is in good original condition throughout, with all the original gilt metal mounts. It is figured walnut all over, with lots of inlay of a much lighter wood, that is probably satinwood.

Antique Mahogany Butler's Tray on Original Stand

This fabulous antique butler's tray on stand, is totally original & the two pieces do belong together, unlike many on the market. Take a close look at the images, to see the wonderful colour & patina of the wood, which I think is mahogany, but might even be walnut. I would say it dates to around the early 1800's.
