This is the most unusual antique Davenport that I've come across. It's mahogany, with satinwood inlay in many places. The top slides back & there is a display cabinet below, with bevelled glass on the door.

This stunning pair of armchairs are in lovely original condition & are of a most unusual design. They are antique Swedish or Danish & the wood is Satinbirch. I suppose they are 'Empire Style'.
Wonderful quality antique Mid-Victorian side cabinet. This piece is in good original condition throughout, with all the original gilt metal mounts. It is figured walnut all over, with lots of inlay of a much lighter wood, that is probably satinwood.
Beautifully proportioned breakfront bookcase, with a fitted secretaire in the middle. Made in the antique Georgian style around the 1930-1950's, this bookcase is of excellent quality throughout & has a wonderful original mellow colour. It has four glazed doors on the top, with a secretaire in the middle & two drawers either side, below which are four burr walnut panelled doors There is a dental cornice at the top, crossbanded walnut on the top middle surface & bracket feet at the base. There are many more good features that I haven't mentioned, so please check out all of the images. The height on this bookcase is unusually low for this kind of piece. The woods incorporated within this piece are burr walnut, straight grain walnut & figured walnut.
