Antique French Style Marble Top Marquetry Cabinet

Very impressive antique French style cabinet, with a marble top, plenty of marquetry & gilt metal mounts. It's reasonably slim for this kind of cabinet & has plenty of storage inside. Structurally sound, with a slight bit of fade to the polish in places. There are two cupboards & a drawer at the top. I would say it dates to around the 1930's period. The marble top has a lovely grain.

Antique French Style Display Cabinet with Marquetry

Good quality antique French style display cabinet, with a bow front & ends. There are a few different woods within it, but the main one looks like rosewood, with some mahogany, tulip wood & possibly kingwood too. There is also some beautiful marquetry & inlay too. Around the top edges, plus down the sides & feet are some gilt metal mounts. The inside lining is a dusty pink velvet, that looks original, but it is fairly marked up from where items have been sitting. It doesn't look too bad from a distance, but it is noticeable close up. I suppose it could always be relined. The cabinet itself is in good condition, with normal markings consistent for it's age, which I would put at around the 1930-50's period. At the moment there is no key, but I will try to find one that fits.
