Small antique Edwardian mahogany bow fronted chest of drawers in good original condition. I believe the handles are original & it still has the little piece on the back to stop things sliding off. It's very nice quality, the drawers are graduated, the wood has a lovely patina & it sits on splayed feet. I would say it dates to around the 1910 period.
Antique Georgian style bow fronted flame mahogany chest on chest. The top is nicely crossbanded, the drawers have a lovely pattern running through the flame mahogany, there are brass handles on the drawers & it sits on bracket feet. It's in good condition & has just been French polished. I would say it dates to around the 1930's period.
This small yew wood chest of drawers is antique Georgian style & is in good original condition. It has a serpentine front, a crossbanded top, reeded canted corners, brass handles & sits on bracket feet. I would say it's about 50 years old & it has just been French polished.
Very unusual tall slim antique Wellington chest with 10 drawers. I believe this piece is at least 100 years old, possibly older & it has a makers stamp underneath. I have a feeling it may have been re-veneered, but never the less it's a fantastic piece of furniture. The veneers are burr walnut, beautifully figured. There is an ebony stringing on the top edge, on the sides & on the moveable locking side bars. The handles on the drawers are also ebonized. This Wellington chest is particularly narrow & high. I've never come across anything like this before. Underneath the veneers is all solid timbers. It's also structurally sound & all the drawers work okay. This chest is of exceptional high quality, so please take a blown up look at all of the images to appreciate this. Both of the side bars swing open to allow the drawers to pull out. The right hand side bar has a lock & key.
